Hi, I’m Lauren — founder of Rose & Shear Hair Club in Bloomington, Indiana. What started as a way to wrangle my own curly hair evolved into a full-blown creative obsession with form, texture, and self-expression. Since 2012, I’ve studied with expert hairdressers across the country, shaping my craft around modern razor work, dry cutting, and intuitive design.

I specialize in sculpting curly and wavy hair, punk cuts, and lived-in looks with a smooth 4–6 month grow-out — styles that balance functionality with individuality. My approach is collaborative and anatomy-focused: every client is a canvas, every shape is distinctively yours.
